Welcome
The LGBT Society exists primarily as a social group for the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transperson communities within the University. Social events range from film screenings to clubbing trips to pub nights to joint events with LGBT groups at other universities. We also arrange an array of interesting guest speakers to deliver welfare talks on various current LGBT issues.
- The Victoria Cafe – The Cabin
The LGBT Society meets every Monday evening in the The Victoria Cafe. We realise that a first visit may seem daunting, but we really are a friendly bunch and always welcome new members. If you’re really worried about not knowing anybody, please drop a committee member an email before any of our Monday meetings and we should be able to arrange for someone to meet you before the activities start and introduce to you some others.
